April 29 – May 2, 2018 (Montréal, Québec): One hundred and sixty youth, family members and carers, service providers, policy makers, and researchers from communities across Canada attended a 3-day networking event at the Centre Sheraton in Montréal, as part of the 3rd ACCESS Open Minds Network Meeting.

Teams from 14 diverse communities, from coast to coast to coast, came together to share their perspectives, experiences, and best practices in providing youth with faster and better access mental health care.

“ACCESS Open Minds is revolutionizing youth mental health care in Canada. As a network, these events help us move to the next level in providing exceptional care with, and for youth. It’s an opportunity for many groups who don’t usually work together to collaborate and push the envelope of what’s possible.” – Jess Chisholm, Director of Operations, ACCESS Open Minds
