Announcement re: new Director / Annonce re: nouvelle Directrice

I am pleased to announce the appointment of the Director of Services and Engagement for ACCESS Open Minds. Following recommendation of the advisory group, I have just successfully negotiated the appointment of Ina Winkelmann, MSW; DESS, for this position. Ina will commence her new position on April 03 2017.

Ina comes with nearly twenty years of experience in delivery and management of youth mental health care in both institutional and community settings. In the last few years she has been managing two very large programs of child and adolescent and mood disorders for the catchment area of south-west Montréal. Ina brings with her a great deal of passion, enthusiasm, expertise, advocacy and innovation in youth mental health service delivery as well as relevant management expertise. Her role will be to oversee the service transformation as per the ACCESS OM objectives at all sites and to engage both within and without the network to meet our larger objective of sustainability in all contexts, especially the indigenous sites and scaling up beyond ACCESS OM in order to benefit the entire population of youth with mental health problems in Canada.

J’ai le plaisir d’annoncer la nomination de la Directrice des services et de l’engagement pour ACCESS Esprit Ouvert. Suite à la recommandation du groupe consultatif, je viens de négocier avec succès la nomination d’Ina Winkelmann, MSW; DESS, pour ce poste. Ina commencera son nouveau poste le 3 avril 2017.

Ina compte près de vingt ans d’expérience dans la prestation et la gestion des soins de santé mentale pour les jeunes dans les milieux institutionnels et communautaires. Au cours des dernières années, elle a géré deux très grands programmes de troubles de l’enfance, de l’adolescence et de l’humeur dans la région du sud-ouest de Montréal. Ina nous rejoint avec beaucoup de passion, d’enthousiasme, d’expertise, de plaidoyer et d’innovation dans la prestation de services de santé mentale pour les jeunes et avec des compétences pertinentes en gestion. Son rôle consistera à superviser la transformation des services selon les objectifs d’ACCESS EO sur tous les sites et à s’engager, à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur du réseau, à atteindre notre plus grand objectif de pérennisation dans tous les contextes, en particulier avec les sites indigènes. Cela au profit de toute la population de jeunes ayant des problèmes de santé mentale au Canada.
