The Hope in the Darkness Walk for Youth Mental Health is currently taking place, with Anishinaabe police officer, Kevin Redsky, who is originally from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in northern Ontario, lacing up his shoes and walking across Canada to raise awareness about Indigenous youth mental health. He and his group started on the east coast, and they are aiming to meet up in Winnipeg with another group coming from the west coast. They will be meeting with youth and communities along the way to have conversations about youth mental health

You can support this initiative and learn more about the Hope in the Darkness Walk on their site, here, and read more about this great initiative on the CBC news website.
