Early Identification Guide:
Experiencing a delay in receiving mental health care can have significant and negative short- and long term impacts on youth who are in need of help.This practical guide was designed to help service providers, designers and administrators plan, monitor and evaluate specific activities to ensure that their services are reaching those in need, as early as possible.
Community Mapping Guide:
Created with members of the ACCESS Open Minds Youth Council, Family and Carers Council and other network members, this guide was designed to improve connections between services by identifying community strengths, and resources that come in contact with youth to inform targets for relationship building. The guide includes a worksheet to facilitate and support local mapping activities with multiple stakeholders (including youth, families and carers, service providers and administrators).
mindyourmind: works with young people aged 14-29 to co-create interactive tools and innovative resources to build capacity and resilience, in the space where mental health, wellness, engagement and technology meet.
The Children and Youth in Challenging Contexts (CYCC) network: a national knowledge mobilization initiative that supports researchers, community based organizations, educators, policy makers, and others working to improve the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable and at-risk children and youth.
Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health: works with Ontario child and youth mental health agencies to strengthen services and build an effective and accessible system of care.
headspace: based in Australia, provides early intervention mental health services to youth aged 12-25 years, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ well-being.
Orygen: based in Australia, this National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health is a research and knowledge translation organisation focusing on mental ill-health in young people.
