October 17, 2017: The ACCESS Open Minds Parc-Extension team celebrated the official public launch of their transformed service and youth space at the CLSC Parc-Extension to a gathering of youth, service providers, community members, and key governmental representatives. Punctuated by rap, visual art, multimedia video, and music performances, the event really highlighted the youth-oriented vision of the project. The ACCESS Esprits ouverts team of clinicians and youth welcomed visitors into the drop-in space to show where and how the team is meeting youth where they’re at, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for the youth of Parc-Extension to receive rapid access to care and support when it’s needed.
